Executive Council Meeting
The Executive Council meeting will take place on Saturday 23rd May 2026, at Mt St Alphonsus, Limerick at 11am. All Executive members will be notified by the General Secretary in due course with Agenda and Minutes.
Update – 19th May – The General Secretary has distributed “Notice of Meeting and Agenda”, “Minutes of Feb 2026 Executive meeting”, “Notice of Motion to Change Murphy Cup Rule 5” and a counter proposal documents. They may be viewed at this link.
Murphy Cup Competition
The 2026 Murphy Cup Competition is scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd, at Mt. St. Alphonsus, Limerick. The draw will take place at 1.30pm (sharp). This year’s event features eight elite teams representing three districts:
- Northern District: St. Nicholas (Carrickfergus) and St. Malachy (Royal Hillsborough).
- Southern District: SMCB (Dunmanway), St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral (Cork), and St. Mary’s Cathedral (Limerick).
- Eastern District: Christ Church (Taney), St. Patrick’s Cathedral (Dublin), and Christ Church Cathedral (Dublin).

Northern District
The Northern District AGM and Cunningham Cup Competition was held on Saturday 11th April 2026 at St Patrick’s, Ballymena, with six teams competing.
Cunningham Cup Results:

- Rostrevor
- Bangor
- Greyabbey
Carrickfergus and Hillsborough have both qualified to represent the Northern District in the Murphy Cup this May.

- McBride Cup: Awarded to Fraser Rennie.
- Attendance Shield: Presented to the Rostrevor Ringers.
- Jameson Cup: Presented to Fiona Chamberlain on behalf of the Kilmood Ringers.
- Life Membership & Badges: presented to Alistair Jameson, Don McLean, Robert Foulis, Colin Holliday, and Simon Walker in recognition of their service.
