It is planned to start ringing from 10.30am – below is an early schedule, is here as a guide and is subject to change:-
10.30- Warm-up with Call changes – Kieron
10.45 – Doubles or Minor – Julia
11.00 – Triples or Major – Don
11.15 – Call changes – Simon
11.30 – Triples or Major – Matthew
11.45 – Call Changes, Limerick band
12.45 – (approx, as cortege leaves the Cathedral) Somerset Call changes – Kieron
Breaking News – 14th March 2023
- Monday, 20th March – 5 to 7pm reposing in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Limerick.
- Tuesday 21st at12 noon , Funeral Service in St Mary’s Cathedral, followed by cremation at 2pm in Shannon Crematorium.

District Annual General Meetings and District Cup dates for your diary:
Eastern District – Saturday 11th March 2023 – St Peter’s, Drogheda, starting at 14.00
Southern District – Saturday 1st April 2023 – St Mary’s Cathedral , Limerick, starting at 14.00
Northern District – Saturday 15th April 2023 – Kilbroney, Rostrevor, starting at 11.00

Advance date for your diaries – Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October 2023, when the Association will be celebrating its 125th Anniversary. This will be the weekend of the Association Ringing Festival hosted by the Eastern District. A special celebratory Service will be held in St Patrick’s Cathedral to coincide with the Anniversary, on the 22nd October.
To celebrate the IACR 125th anniversary, 2 items are now available, for sale. A new lapel pin at €2.50/£2.00 (see sample here); and a large umbrella for €30/£26 (see sample here).
