The Irish Association of Change Ringers

IACR COVID-19 Guidance: COVID-19 Guidelines for ringing must be considered separately within the National rules that apply (Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland), which are altering levels of restrictions at different rates. They must also be within the guidelines of the respective Churches, and at all times with mind to the safety of the participants.

Congratulations to Rev. Cliff – Chairman and Vice-President of the IACR Southern District on his appointment as Dean of Ross. Assume we’ll all be calling there as well as Dunmanway for the holidays!

The first Association Ringing event since pre Covid-19  was held prior to the AGM was held in Christ Church, Taney, Click here to see pictures from the Ringing and Annual General Meeting, a great joy to be able to ring altogether again.

The Annual General meeting was held on the afternoon of, Saturday 28th May 2022,  Honorary Life Membership of the IACR has been bestowed on Don McLean and Mike Pomeroy.  Sincere Congratulations to both on this well-deserved honour.

The following office bearers were elected taking up office from 1st January 2023

The Association wishes to thank Mike Pomeroy for his stirling work as Association Ringing Master over the last 5 years, but will continue as Association Ringing Master on till the end of 2022.

Association Librarian: June Kelly
