IACR COVID-19 Guidance: COVID-19 Guidelines for ringing must be considered separately within the National rules that apply (Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland), which are altering levels of restrictions at different rates. They must also be within the guidelines of the respective Churches, and at all times with mind to the safety of the participants.

A further reminder for Saturday July 30th Waterford Christ Church Cathedral will be celebrating the 150-year anniversary of the bells.
The first peal to be rung in Ireland happened in July 1872, as documented on the peal board in the ringing room.

Waterford Ringers would like to invite ringers from other towers to visit Waterford and ring with us on Saturday 30th (from 11am), and we are particularly inviting ringers who can participate in a quarter peal on that day. Refreshments will be provided.

If you would like to attend, please ‘phone or text Richard de Courcy on 086-3220428; if you would like to take part in a quarter peal, please contact Torstein Strandenes on email:  TorsteinStrandenes@outlook.com or text message to 085-7438385.

We have made some layout changes to the website over the last couple of weeks.  There is a new Quick Links panel to the left hand side, with links to the Gallery and Obituaries. Each of these pages has also under gone a facelift and you can link to them here Gallery and here Obituaries .

A future date for your diary – the annual IACR Ringing Festival returns and will be hosted by the Northern District. Dates are Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October 2022.
