Kilbroney Parish Church is situated in the picturesque village of Rostrevor.  In the side chapel the names of all the  Vicars from 1305 to the present day are carved on a wooden plaque.

The bells are housed in the porch under the square tower at the west end of the building.  There is a 17” diameter brass bell which is known as the “Bell of the Crag”, and was in use until the ring of bells was installed in 1880.  It is said that this bell was in the bell-cote of the previous church dedicated to St.Paul.  It has no date nor inscription and is a plain casting.

The ring of six bells installed in 1880 resulted chiefly from the generosity of the Vicar from 1871 until 1903, the Rev. William C.Barker, M.A.  A tablet in the Church vestibule records this fact
