The Irish Association of Change Ringers held their 125th Annual General Meeting and Murphy Cup All Ireland Bell Ringing Championship in St. Canice's Cathedral. The Murphy Cup was won by the Team from St. Malachy's Parish Church, Hillsborough, Co. Down. Teams from St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, (Eastern District) St. Mary's Cathedral, Limerick, (Southern District) and St. Malachy's Parish Church in Hillsborough, Co. Down, (Northern District) rang in the Championship. The 1914 Bellringing Attendance Shield was on display at the AGM.
